It is such a help to receive your subscription in advance of the Festival. We value highly the contribution made by Friends which is now such an important element in our finances.

Funding

We wish to thank all supporters and volunteers for their vital work which enables the Festival to go from strength to strength, providing a wonderful musical opportunity for our musicians and the children who participate in the Mull String Summer School.

The Festival costs in excess of £40,000 each year to run, for which we host up to 30 musicians, promote over a dozen concerts throughout the Isle of Mull and Iona as well as in Oban and on occasions further afield.

Each year we seek the support of individuals, Friends, Trusts, and corporate sponsors to support the Festival, professional fees, travel and accommodation bursaries, and the concerts themselves.

Friends Reception
